Executive Director – John Sellars
John joined The Fremont in March after a five year stint as director of the local History Museum. A Springfield native, John has worked most of his career in sales and marketing. He is a very active volunteer in the community and works with many organizations doing programs and entertainment. With his guidance The Fremont continues to be a premier location to retire and enjoy life with good friends and neighbors.
Ariel Forste – On-Site Manager
Ariel is a 23 year old Springfield native. He is currently attending Missouri State University majoring in Theatre Performance. During his free time he enjoys getting out in the sun and reading a good book. He is very excited about working as the On-Site Manager at The Fremont and is very happy to be here.
Kacie Turner – Community Outreach Coordinator
A Southeast Missouri native has an extensive background in senior living. She attended MSU with an emphasis in hospitality. She is looking forward to sharing her education and experience to help improve the lives of others.
Vance Pursley – Maintenance Manager
An army veteran with years of experience in maintenance Vance has been part of the Fremont team since June 2010. He is always available to insure the proper operation of every part of the Fremont’s building and grounds.
Sarah Davis, Resident Services
Sarah is responsible for all resident services and on-site activities. She co-ordinates all food service and housekeeping for the residents and the facility and assists with recreational activities.
Miller-O’Reilly Company
Developer of The Fremont
The Miller-O’Reilly Company consists of Matt Miller and Pat O’Reilly. The owners are Springfield natives who each have extensive local real estate holdings that include: multi-use planned developments, The Fremont, historic preservation of buildings, downtown lofts, luxury homes, hotels, and restaurants.
Patrick O’Reilly
After ten years as an executive at O’Reilly Automotive, Pat left the company to go into full-time real estate acquisition and development. Pat and his family have robust local real estate holdings, with several developments to his credit. His family’s connections with The Wooten Company over the past 30 years ensure a solid foundation in property management.
Matt E. Miller
Matt has been on the forefront of the renaissance of downtown Springfield with several Federal Historic Tax Credit renovations. His background is in real estate finance, construction, and development.
